Wände, Boden, Decke für eine Küche

In einer einwöchigen Bauschule werden wir nun im Inneren des Hauses die räumlichen Voraussetzungen für den Einbau einer Küche schaffen. Dies erfordert Umbauten am Fachwerk und den Umgang mit Lehm­ putzen an Wand und Decke. Die Arbeiten werden unter Anleitung selbstständig ausgeführt. Das Haus Bräutigam dient als Ort der Betätigung und als ein­ fache Herberge. Übernachtet wird in Zelten im Haus, das Haus verfügt über eine Trockentrenntoilette und eine Außenküche. Weitere Bestandteile des Aufenthal­ tes sind gemeinsame Mahlzeiten sowie Ausflüge ins Schwarzatal. Wir laden bis zu fünf Bauinteressierte ein, aktiv am Leben auf der Baustelle teilzuhaben.

Walls, floor and a kitchen ceiling

In this one-week building workshop, we will prepare a room to make it ready for installing a kitchen. Some alterations to the half-timbered structure are required and the walls and ceilings will be coated with clay plaster. Participants will have the opportunity to undertake the work themselves under instruction. Haus Bräutigam is both the construction site and a simple hostel for the duration of the workshop. We will sleep in tents indoors, and we have a dry toilet and outdoor kitchen. We will cook and eat together and there will also be time to explore the surrounding countryside. We invite up to five participants to join us for a week on the building site.
